Check people out of an event using the Security Label or with their name at a Roster Station. Checking out isn't necessary for people to check in in the future.

Checking out is an option on both Manned and Roster Stations. For security purposes, it is not available on Self Stations.
Tip
You can set custom success messages to be displayed after a person checks out.
If a security label is added to the location, every check-in is assigned a randomized alpha-numeric tag for each check-in time. This security code will never be the same again for that person.
Scan that code to check out the people associated with that check-in.
If you've checked in with the Church Center App, the security code will either automatically show up, or you can get the code from the same screen by tapping Check out.
When the parent comes to pick up the child, the person at the station can scan the barcode or type the Security Code in the search bar on a Manned Station, which will pull up those matching the barcode or security number.
On the check out screen, you can choose who to check out, as well as see trusted and not authorized people.

Choose who is checking out the people. The default is set to the person who checked in the child, but you can easily switch it to someone else by clicking on their image.

If the person checking out the child is not shown, make sure they're authorized to pick them up by selecting Find out who.
A roster station shows all who are checked in to the specified location on the Here tab, allowing you to check people out.
Tip
If you want the station to automatically open to check out, update the Roster Station's settings to show only the Here tab.
Verify the security number and unauthorized people before checking the box to check them out.
As you check off names of people, their name will be moved to the Checked out tab with the time of check out as well as their security code, if enabled.
Tip
From the Here tab, scan a security label by tapping the camera icon or type in a security code to view everyone assigned that code, even if they are checked in to different locations. Make sure to check off each person that is pulled up with that code to complete the checkout!
You can also configure the roster to allow you to check out from all locations.
Once this setting is enabled, you can tap the All Locations button to see everyone who is checked in and quickly check out everyone across multiple locations.
Important
The All Locations view is not designed for classroom management and does not include many of the features available in the Here tab, such as search, security codes, medical notes, and unconfirmed check-ins.
